Power of Attorney Agent Order
Your power of attorney should be someone that you trust completely to help manage your finances if you are incapacitated, and is willing to do that function for you.
If you are worried about fraud, some people will pick multiple agents to serve together. This can reduce the chance that one person will sell a home over someone else’s objection. However, if you pick people to serve together the POA is likely to be rejected or applied incorrectly at financial institutions, which could lead to a conservatorship.
If you want to someone to have access to a specific bank account, going to the bank and signing a form giving that person access is the best way to make sure that happens.
